About Us
Welcome to Jeevanthi Films! We’re a Brisbane-based film production company, founded in 2020 during the pandemic with one simple goal: to bring a little more light and joy into people’s lives through the magic of storytelling. Our name, Jeevanthi, has a special meaning—it’s inspired by an herb known for its healing qualities, blending the words “Jeeva” (meaning life) and “Shanthi” (meaning peace). We want all our projects to reflect a balance: life’s energy, peace, and warmth, all coming together on screen.
Behind Jeevanthi Films is a family team, Writer/Director Sanjane Koneshamoorthy and Costumer/Actress/Dancer Thivviya Ravindranathan. Yes, we’re not only creative partners but also married! Managing a film production company with two little ones has its challenges, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’ve shared plenty of late nights, lots of coffee (and masala tea), and endless brainstorming sessions, and it’s all been worth it. We truly believe that stories have a unique way of connecting us all, and we’re here to share those connections with you.
Our very first feature, Arranged Love, is an English-language romantic comedy that dives into the ups and downs of modern relationships and family expectations. It’s a story filled with laughter, love, and maybe a few surprises along the way. We hope it’s as fun for you to watch as it was for us to make.
